Tricia McLaughlin: "Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them — an act of domestic terrorism.

An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots.

He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers. "


Kristi Noem: "Our ICE officers were out in an enforcement action. They got stuck in the snow because of the adverse weather that is in Minneapolis. They were attempting to push out their vehicle and a woman attacked them, and those surrounding them, and attempted to run them over and ram them with her vehicle.

An officer of ours acted quickly and defensively shot to protect himself and the people around him and my understanding is that she was hit and is deceased."

These vehicle rammings are domestic acts of terrorism."


Donald Trump: "I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a horrible thing to watch. The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense. Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital."

The victim clearly should not have driven off in the reckless way that she did, but this statement is inaccurate.

DHS says "rioters" were there.

-But there aren't any rioters involved in this incident or visible anywhere.

DHS says rioters were blocking ICE.

-But it looks like an ICE vehicle may be stuck in the ice, blocking the driver, and another vehicle drives around her no problem seconds before the shooting

DHS says she "attempted to kill" the agents.

-Video shows she turned away from the agents and was trying to leave.

DHS says the agent saved his own life.

-Video shows that he had placed himself in harm's way and was not in a life-threatening position at the moment shots were fired.

DHS says he saved other agents' lives

-But no other agents were even remotely threatened.

DHS says it was the result of anti-ICE animus

-No evidence that this was the result of any anti-ICE animus.

DHS says the agents were hurt and need to recover

-Video doesn't show any injuries.

Oh, I actually didn't notice this at first, but the victim waved the ICE vehicles to go past her. She was not blocking them.

"International law" is fake and gay. The only international law is that big and powerful countries get to do what they want. It has been that way since the dawn of civilization. It will always be that way. And we are the most powerful country on the planet. It's about time that we start acting like it.

I must say this very clearly to the United States:

It makes absolutely no sense to speak of any necessity for the United States to take over Greenland. The United States has no legal basis to annex one of the three countries of the Kingdom of Denmark.

The Kingdom of Denmark — and thus Greenland — is a member of NATO and is therefore covered by the Alliance’s collective security guarantee. We already have a defence agreement between the Kingdom of Denmark and the United States that grants the U.S. broad access to Greenland. In addition, the Kingdom has made significant investments in security in the Arctic.

I therefore strongly urge the United States to cease its threats against a historically close ally, and against another country and another people who have stated very clearly that they are not for sale.
